Description

The SparkFun OpenScale is a low-cost, open-source scale for weighing and monitoring temperature. It can read a variety of load cells and includes an easy-to-use serial menu for configuring calibration value, sample rate, time stamp, and accuracy units.
Simply put the OpenScale into a USB port, connect a four-wire or five-wire load cell of any capacity, and open a terminal window at 9,600bps to observe mass measurements. The SparkFun OpenScale allows you to convert a load cell or four load sensors into a DIY weigh scale for your application using a Wheatstone bridge setup.
The OpenScale was created for projects and applications that need a lot of processing power.
